NATHAN NET COMMUNITY RULES

These rules apply everywhere Nathan Net runs: the website (nathan-net.com), the Nathan Net app, this Discord server, and the Minecraft server. Breaking a rule in one place can lead to action in all of them.

Who Can Join While everyone is welcome, only people invited by the server owner will be able to join, any people invited by server members will not be able to join. We need this rule to keep a safe and fun community.

• Website and app accounts follow the same rule. You need an invite from the owner to create a member account.
• Age: you must be at least 13 years old to make an account, and old enough to use Discord and Minecraft under their own terms.
• One account per person. No alternate accounts to dodge a timeout, ban, or land claim limit.
• Keep your account to yourself. Do not share, sell, trade, or lend your account. You are responsible for anything done on it.

Be Kind Treat all members with respect and express your thoughts in a constructive manner.

Safe Space Sometimes, life sucks. We can't always control that, but we find ways to manage it. Laughter can be a great comfort, but it should never come at the expense of others. Bullying is not tolerated, and should be reported. When in doubt, apply the "Mom Rule": ask yourself, "Would I do this if Mom was watching?" If you or someone else is in danger or thinking about self-harm, tell a trusted adult and contact help right away. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 in an emergency. Moderators are not counselors, but they can point you to help.

Watch What You Send This can include harassment, abuse, elitism, bullying, and/or racist, sexist, or otherwise offensive content (including derogatory terms and language about physical and/or mental disabilities). We have zero tolerance for posts that harm others. All messages are logged, even deleted ones. This does include any brain rot.

No Codes Please do not use codes to try to get around mods. This includes misspellings, symbols, other languages, emoji, or images used to sneak past filters.

Keep Your Profile Appropriate Do not have bad photos, bio, or other things on your profile, you will be kicked. This covers your username, display name, avatar, bio, and Minecraft skin on every platform.

Do Not Spam Spamming will result in timeout, or loss of privileges. On the website and app, this includes flooding comments, posting the same thing repeatedly, mass-tagging people, and opening duplicate tickets.

No Discord Invites No sending invites for other servers, any words having to do with a Discord subscription have been blocked. You know the one that starts with an N (mainly to prevent scams). This also means no links to other servers, giveaways, or "free" offers on the website or app.

No Political Topics

No Piracy, Sexual, NSFW, or Otherwise Suspicious Content This includes links, files, images, and uploads to the website or app.

Do Not Impersonate Do not pretend to be Nathan, a moderator, another member, or Nathan Net staff. Staff will never ask for your password.

No Personal Information Be careful, this includes but is not limited to: age, full birthdate, place of birth, personal address, geolocation, email address, full name, passport number, driver's license number, IP address, login ID details, images or video footage containing means in which to identify, personal social media, social security number, credit/bank card numbers, biometric data, other identification numbers linked to one's identity and personal information, or any other information that can be traced to one individual. This applies to your own information and anyone else's. Sharing someone else's information (doxxing) leads to an immediate ban.

MINECRAFT SERVER RULES

Respect Others' Builds Building walls with water and lava around others' bases is considered griefing. Destroying things multiple times when a person nearby is building is griefing. Stealing from chests or claims that are not yours is also griefing.

Allowed Mods We encourage you to use Lunar Client. Any modifications should not give you any advantage in game, only cosmetic and performance mods are allowed. Auto clickers and any software like them is not allowed. Any advantage gained from them is considered cheating. Violating these will result in a ban.

• Not allowed: X-ray, fly, kill aura, auto clickers, macros, and minimaps that show players or ores through walls.
• Not sure if a mod is allowed? Open a ticket and ask before you use it.

No Real-Money Trading Do not buy, sell, or trade in-game items, land, or accounts for real money, gift cards, or anything outside the game.

Land Claiming Land may be claimed, no hogging land, no claiming land around others, you may expand your land size only if you need it, do not expand until your land has been re-zoned, if you do we are not responsible for items outside of zoned areas. No claiming villages unless you have built them up or built a wall around them. Also no claiming natural structures. You may only have 1 other person added to your land claim, we are not responsible. Only 2 claims, but they may be larger and you may have a business area. To claim land or change the size create a land claim ticket on the website or app.

WEBSITE AND APP RULES

Official Places Only This is the ONLY OFFICIAL SERVER. Any other servers claiming to be with Nathan Net or this Minecraft server are not run by and/or moderated by us. We recommend you do not join them, we cannot ensure your safety on them and they are not moderated by us. If you join a voice chat or other server we cannot do anything about what happens and will not be responsible. We strongly suggest you do not join or chat in voice or chats other than our official server. The only official website is nathan-net.com, and the only official app is the one linked from that site. Do not log in through any other link, page, or app that claims to be Nathan Net.

Account Security

• Use a strong password you do not use anywhere else, and turn on two-factor sign-in if it is offered.
• Never share your password or login codes. Staff will never ask for them.
• If you think your account was taken over, open a ticket right away. You are still responsible for what happens on it until you report it.

Tickets

• Use tickets for land claims, reports, appeals, mod questions, bugs, and help.
• One ticket per issue. Do not open duplicates or bump a ticket repeatedly.
• Be honest and include screenshots or details when you can. False reports are a rule violation.
• Keep ticket conversations respectful. Staff are volunteers.

Uploads and Posts

• Only upload images, files, or content you made or have permission to share.
• No files that could harm someone's device (viruses, suspicious downloads, cracked software).
• All community rules above apply to anything you post, comment, or upload.

No Hacking or Exploiting

• Do not try to break into, overload, scrape, or bot the website, app, or server.
• Do not try to access accounts, pages, or staff tools that are not yours.
• Found a bug or exploit? Report it in a ticket and do not use it or share it. Reporting a real bug will never get you in trouble; using one will.

MODERATION

Moderator Privileges Moderators have the right and privilege to remove any messages they think are inappropriate without a warning, or explanation. Any punishment they give you stands. We know the rules and if you find a loophole it will not work, if we think you violated the rules, we will act upon it. Posts deemed offensive, violent, or against the rules will be deleted without warning. Moderators have this access to help keep the server safe. Please don't post things they need to delete. When in doubt, just don't post it. Moderators can act on the website, app, Discord, and Minecraft server, including removing posts, profiles, uploads, and land claims.

Consequences Any punishment starts at a 1 day timeout, and continues on by severity. Spamming can lead to permanent loss of chat privileges. Nothing in game should affect your relationship with anyone in the real world. A punishment on one platform can apply to all of them. Serious violations (doxxing, threats, hacking, scams, or sexual content) can skip straight to a permanent ban.

Reporting See something against the rules? Report it with a ticket or the report button on the website or app, and include screenshots if you can. Do not argue with the person or try to handle it yourself. Reports are kept private.

Appeals If you think a punishment was a mistake, open one appeal ticket after it starts. Explain what happened calmly. The owner's decision on an appeal is final, and the punishment stays in place while the appeal is reviewed.

Notice of Logging Please note while on the server all messages are logged including deleted, edited, and blocked messages. All messages sent in the Minecraft server are logged. Any command you do in the Minecraft server is logged. This is for your own safety. Any and all interactions on the server are logged. The same applies to the website and app:

• Posts, comments, messages, tickets, uploads, and profile changes are logged, including deleted and edited ones.
• Sign-ins, IP addresses, and device information are logged to protect accounts and stop ban evasion.
• Logs are only viewed by Nathan Net staff to keep the community safe. They are never sold, and they are only shared if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
• You can ask what information is stored about your account, or ask for your account to be deleted, by opening a ticket.

AGREEMENT By clicking the checkmark, or by creating an account or signing in on the website or app, you agree to all of the rules. You also know they may change at any time. You will be required to follow any updates. Major changes will be announced on the website, app, and Discord. Nathan Net
