Nathan Net is a community website and app for a Minecraft server. This page explains what we keep and why.

What we keep

  • Your account: username, email address, password (stored as a one-way hash), optional two-factor secret, and your profile.
  • Your Minecraft account: name and UUID once you link it, and what the server reports about you (playtime, balance, stats, land).
  • What you write: tickets, chat messages, reports, appeals and poll votes, and photos you attach.
  • Security records: sign-ins (IP address, browser or device), so we can spot and stop account theft and ban evasion.
  • The app: a device identifier for your logins, and, if you allow notifications, a push token.
  • While you play (iOS app): when you're online on the Minecraft server, the app shows you a live "Currently Playing" notification with your playtime and general in-game location (like "Overworld • Plains • near Spawn", never exact coordinates). Only you can see it, and you can turn it off any time (More → Settings → Currently Playing). We keep only the latest location while you're online and delete it a few minutes after you leave; staff can see your exact position only in reports you file.

What we use it for

Running the website, app and server, moderation and keeping accounts safe. We don't sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps and websites.

Your choices

  • Download everything we keep: Account → Your data (in the app: More → Your data).
  • Close your account there too: your personal data is removed straight away; tickets and chat messages stay, shown as from a deleted user.
  • Turn notifications or individual kinds of notifications off at any time.
